Hawassa University Justus Liebig University Giessen Student Exchange Program.

The first batch of exchange students from Hawassa University have started a one-semester study at Justus-Liebig University of Giessen, Germany. Three students of Hawassa University who won this international students’ exchange program have already started their five months’ stay at University of Giessen since March 17, 2022.

Hawassa University is grateful to its partner, Justus-Liebig University of Giessen, for this cooperation and other partnership activities in the past, even under challenging circumstances. It is noteworthy that the cooperation between the two universities has grown to be especially important for the integration of international perspectives and values in the education and research undertakings of Hawassa University including the international students’ exchange program.

HU-JLU Student Exchange Program is coordinated by the Institute of Policy and Development Research (IPDR) in collaboration with the International Relations and Alumni Affairs Directorate, Office of External Relations and Communication at Hawassa University.
