HU Hosts the 3rd Annual Congress of Computational Science & Engineering Society of Ethiopia (CSESE)

Hawassa University Hosts the 3rd Annual Congress of Computational Science & Engineering Society of Ethiopia (CSESE) from July 26 - 27, 2024 at the African Union Hall, Main Campus.

The congress was convened with a one minute memorial prayers for Ethiopians at Gofa Zone who faced the demise because of severe landslides, on July 20 & 21, 2024.

The two-days long event was attended by senior scientists from Europe, Africa and Ethiopia as well as junior researchers and students in STEM whereby they shared very critical ideas as to how to expand emerging technology across developing countries such as Ethiopia through strengthening international and regional collaborations.

The 2024 CSECE Outstanding Service Award went to Prof. Teketel Yohanes, Chief Executive Director of Ethiopia Academy of Science.
