The School of Law has held two pieces of training for stake holders striving for the improvement of women’s right and peaceful industry relation.
The first training on Ethiopian labour laws delivered with special focus on: Individual employment relation: formation of labour contract and related issues; special categories of employees; legally stipulated minimum working conditions; dispute settlement under the labour laws of Ethiopia and Collective bargaining & Collective agreement.
The second training on labour laws of Ethiopia and gender-related issues has aimed at elucidating major concerns related to the law of Investment (emphasized on human rights and gender-related issues), gender and the law and individual labour relation and treatment of women employees under the labour laws of Ethiopia.
Representatives of workers’ and investors’ association operating in Hawassa Industrial Park, judges of Hawassa City First Instance Court, BoLSA of SNNPRS and Sidama Regions, EIC and IPDC, Hawassa City Women and Children Affairs Office, Hawassa University Gender Directorate, Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association Hawassa Branch and Mizan Young Lawyers Association has been the beneficiaries of the trainings.

የህግ ት/ቤት ከአለም አቀፍ ስራ ድርጅት ጋር በመተባበር በአሰሪና ሰራተኛ ግንኙነት ላይ እና በሴቶች መብት ላይ ከሚሰሩ ተቋማት ለተውጣጡ ባለሙያዎች፣ የሰራተኞች እና የአሰሪዎች ማህበራት ተወካዮች ሁለት ስልጠናዎችን ሰጥቷል፡፡ የመጀመሪያው ስልጠና በአሰሪና ሰራተኛ ህግ ዙሪያ ሲሆን በተለይም የግል ስራ ግንኙነት (የአሰሪና ሰራተኛ ውል አመሰራረት እና ተያያዥ ጉዳዮች)፣ የልዩ ሰራተኞች መብት፣ በህግ ስለተደነገጉ ዝቅተኛ የስራ ሁኔታዎች፣ በአሰሪና ሰራተኛ ህግ ስለተሸፈኑ የግጭት አፈታት መንገዶች እና የህብረት ድርድር እና የህብረት ስምምነት ላይ ትኩረቱን አድረጓል፡፡
ሁለተኛው ስልጠና ከኢንቨስተመንት ህግ ጋር የተዛመዱ ሰብአዊ መብቶች እና የስርአተ ጾታ ጉዳዮች፣ ስርአተ ጾታ እና ህግ እንዲሁም በስራ ግንኙነት እና ለሴት ሰራተኞች በሚደረግ ጥበቃ ዙሪያ ያተኮረ ነበር፡፡
በስልጠናዎቹ ላይ ከሀዋሳ ኢንደስትሪያል ፓርክ የተውጣጡ የሰራተኞች እና የአሰሪዎች ማህበራት ተወካዮች፣ የሀዋሳ ከተማ መጀመሪያ ደረጃ ፍ/ቤት ዳኞችና ረዳት ዳኞች፣ የደ/ብ/ብ/ህ/ክ/መ ሰራተኛና ማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ቢሮ፣ የሲ/ብ/ክ/መ ሰራተኛና ማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ቢሮ፣ የኢትዮጵያ ኢነቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ሃዋሳ ኢነደስትሪያል ፓርክ ማስተባበሪያ፣ ኢንዲስትሪያል ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን ሃዋሳ ኢነደስትሪያል ፓርክ ማስተባበሪያ፣ሀዋሳ ከተማ ሴቶች እና ህጻናት ጽ/ቤት፣ ሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርስቲ ስርአተ ጾታ ዳይሬክቶሬት፣ የኢትዮጵያ ሴት የህግ ባለሙያዎች ማህበር ሀዋሳ ቅርንጫፍ ጽ/ቤት እንዲሁም ሚዛን ወጣት የህግ ባለሙያዎች ማህበር ተሳታፊዎች ሆነዋል፡
