Institute of Technology Held Motivational Speaking Program with CEO of IE Network Solutions for 2022 Graduates.

Dr. Tesfaye Bayu, Director for Research and Technology Transfer at the Institute of Technology, Hawassa University, made an opening speech mentioning that the institute has a common goal with Ethiopian science policy in vision to see science playing a key role in Ethiopian prosperity by 2040. It is parallel with the current strategic goal of the university to deliver quality and relevant education with a focus on postgraduate studies. 

Mr. Meried Bekele from CEO of IE Network Solutions shared his life experience to the graduating class and the way to success in becoming the owner of a company. Further, he underlined that IT work needs long-term commitment so that fresh graduates should have grit and thrive in continuous improvement for their long-term plan. 

More than 100 graduating class students and academic staff attended the program and raised various issues related to modern IT companies.     

At the end of the discussion, Dr. Fasika Bete, Scientific Director of IoT, wrapped up the session by speaking that the institute needs to work with more private companies and industries, and particularly emerging partnership with IE Network Solutions is important.
