Resource Mobilization Directorate (RMD) is one of the Directorates established under the Business and Development Vice President Office at Hawassa University. This directorate mainly provides income generation and revenue collection services.

HU's Women, Children, Youth and HIV/AIDS Directorate was established in 2002 G.C to ensure gender equality and empowerment of female students and staff in every activity of the university.

Background

The school of continuing and distance education at Hawassa University has started in Awassa College of Agriculture by training few students at diploma level in agricultural disciplines in evening classes.
