Maintenance Directorate (MD) is one of the Directorates established under the Business and Development Vice President Office at Hawassa University. Our office provides planning, coordinating, directing and controlling general maintenance services to the University community.
The main task of this directorate is developing effective and efficient maintenance management methods.

Providing sustainable and cost-effective maintenance services to the university.
Mission
Buildings and other infrastructures are expected to exist for a long time, therefore MD is responsible to plan and make appropriate work for general building and infrastructure maintenance services; maintaining and providing electrical systems, water supply services, sewerage line systems, and wood and metal works.
