Resource Mobilization Directorate (RMD) is one of the Directorates established under the Business and Development Vice President Office at Hawassa University. This directorate mainly provides income generation and revenue collection services.

RMD plays the leading role in coordinating the aforementioned service with the respective offices in order to provide effective and efficient provision for students as well as the university community.

The main activities of RMD are planning, internal revenue, income-generating and revenue collection for teaching and learning activities as well as from rental properties, controlling the service price as per contractual agreement with business owners who work with Hawassa University.
