Research, Education, and Publication Centre (REPC)

The Research, Education, and Publication Centre (REPC) are accountable to the director. The REP will initiate and execute multidisciplinary research projects on Sidama socioeconomic, cultural, environmental, and political issues per the HU thematic areas.

The REP will establish The Journal of Sidama Studies (JSS) to publish some innovative research findings that meet academic and scientific standards.

This Centre will also have periodical newsletters to publish diverse issues of the activities of the Institute. Appropriate research findings will be applied through the community service programs of the University. Moreover, the REP Centre will collaborate with appropriate sector offices of the Sidama National Regional State to advocate for the implementation of certain thematic research findings.
